Made as a result of a three month residency in Arita, the birthplace of Japanese porcelain, organised by the British council, Cove park and Arts Initiative Tokyo. I produced the slip cast works in Saga Research Lab after undertaking a placement within Jyusha ( one of the largest porcelain manufacturers in Arita - producing objects for domestic use).
